Dealing with Stress

As adults, we come across so many situations in our day to day life that cause us to be stressed and/or tense. Living in this constant state of discomfort can make your problems much more difficult to overcome.

If we don’t learn how to handle the stress that is bound to come our way, life can become exhausting! Not only that, but stress can trigger other types of health issues and can impact your relationships with co-workers, friends, and family members.

Here at the Guelph Family Health Team, we want to help you learn how to deal with the stresses in your life. They key is to identify what in your life is standing in the way of you feeling calm, and then to break these issues down into more manageable pieces. In our two sessions, we will work through these tactics together and learn some very helpful stress management tools.
