I live in Guelph and I don't currently have a family doctor. What should I do?
A new system to help patients looking for a family doctor was launched Friday, November 28, 2008 by the Guelph-Wellington Physician Recruitment Committee, in partnership with the City of Guelph. You can obtain information on doctors taking on new patients through a city-hosted web page at www.guelph.ca/doctor, or through a telephone-based recorded message at (519) 822-1260, ext. 2507
Can I use your services without being a rostered patient of one of your doctors?
The services of the Guelph Family Health Team are only available to patients rostered to our doctors.
How is the Guelph Family Health Team (GFHT) run?
The Board of the GFHT includes seven physicians, elected by the member physicians. The Board has created an Advisory Committee of FHT Clinic and Program Leads.
