Information:
Provides transportation service from accessible door to accessible door within the City limits of Guelph.  Drivers provide assistance to persons in wheelchairs.  Walking assistance is also provided.  Passengers are responsible for having someone to assist them if there is more than 1 step at their pick up location or destination.  This is a shared bus ride service that will be picking up otehrs on route so trips may be 40-55 minutes in length.  Booking must be made up to 7 days in advance and at least 24 hours in advance.  Trips requested for the weekends or Mondays must be made by non on Friday.  Trips are provided on a first come first serve basis.  Return rides must be made at the same time pick-up rides are booked.  No bookings will be accepted on the answering machine.

Eligibility:
Persons who are physically challenged regardless of age who, due to a mobility impairment are:
-unable to climb or descend steps
-unable to walk a distance of 175 metres
-unable to use conventional transit

An application form must be filled out by a physician and the applicant.  Cash fares each way of $2.25 or 10 tickets for $19.50 (purchased from the driver).

Also provides fully accessible mobility van that can seat several passengers using mobility devices as well as those without.  It travels along two set routes and will stop at several major destinations within the city, as well as other stops requested along the way.
